Heat Styling Tools
My clients often ask me what my favorite tools are for heat styling. I'm pretty picky about what I will use on my hair and on my clients. I only have a small handful of favorites but they are all you need.
Blow Dryer - I recently was sent an amazing gift from a social media group called Preen.Me. They generously gifted me a blow dryer from GHD. Unfamiliar with the brand I tried it out and instantly fell in love. It is very light weight which is great for me as a hair stylist and it dries my clients hair quickly without getting too hot. I also love the sleek black design. You can find GHD blow dryers at Sephora and Ulta.
Curling Iron- By far my favorite curling iron I have ever owned is from Babyliss. My clients always love the look of their curls after their color service. It perfect for creating beach-y textured waves. I use the 1 1/4" inch since I use it on so many different hair lengths but if you have short hair I would get the 1", and if you have long hair I would get the 1 1/2". You can find the Babyliss curling iron at Ulta.
Flat Iron- I very rarely straighten my hair but when I do I have an old go-to. It's the Salon Tech Titanium 450 1" flat iron. I have had this baby for about 5 years now and I still love it. You can adjust the heat setting and even on the lower temps I have to use very minimal effort to get my hair pin straight. I can create a style with zero frizz and it stays sleek all day. You can find this flat iron directly on Salon Tech's website.
